Dave Brown has 28 years’ experience in the real estate and brokerage industry. A graduate of Lewis & Clark College, he began his career with Coldwell Banker (C.B. Commercial) in San Francisco. Returning to Portland in 1991, Dave has continued his focus on leasing and selling industrial properties.
Dave’s specialty is the NE Portland and Vancouver, Washington areas. Dave has introduced seven new business parks to the Vancouver market, representing over 900,000 sq. ft. of industrial and warehouse space. Dave enjoys working closely with property owners and developers through each step of the development process — from design review to introduction to the market — taking care to ensure each proposed development is ideally suited to meet the needs of the target market.
Dave co-founded Columbia Commercial Properties, LLC in May, 1997 with Keenan Boyle. He is a licensed broker in Oregon and Washington and a contributing member of the Columbia River Economic Council (CREDC), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
Dave has served as a mentor at St. Mary’s Home for Boys since 2002. He has completed Cycle Oregon eight times, most recently in 2013, raising awareness and money for Candlelighter’s Ride for a Child program. Candlelighter’s provides funding for children and families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. In 2014, Dave completed the Cycle Greater Yellowstone bike ride.
Dave, his wife Caty, and their two sons live in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
